Introduction

Sourcerer - place any code anywhere.

Sourcerer enables you to place PHP and any kind of HTML style code (including CSS and JavaScript) right in to your content! Not only in your articles, but also in sections, categories, modules, components, META tags, etc.

You can now just place your original codes right into your WYSIWYG editor. The only thing you have to do is surround the code with the Sourcerer tags. Easy peasy!

So now you can also use PHP scripts in your content. That opens up a great deal of possibilities.

Most Joomla! Text Editors will strip parts of your HTML code, like JavaScripts (think of statistics scripts) and movie embed tags. With Sourcerer you won't have these limitations.

Easy to use editor button
Sourcerer comes with a very easy to use editor button. This will help you paste your code in a clean format that will not cause any problems. Also it comes with syntax coloring (php, js, css, html).

It works immediately, without any tweaking. I have added it to about five different websites, and wonder why it isn't part of Joomla core, it's so good.

Easy to install and good documentation on web site. Allows easy integration of scripts into web page. Only used a few times and not got anywhere nearing using its full capabilities.

I tried a similar plugin and didn't have any luck. Tried Sourcerer and worked instantly.

Allows me to easily add scripts within content with no fuss.

This is a very good plugin. I think that this should be rassshirenie everyone who is engaged in Joomla. I was very impressed that the developer is always watching for an update plugin. Another advantage is that you can buy the Pro version of the plugin, if you need a more professional functions

When you need to include a script, simple or complex, made by another developer, and do not need to integrate it as a joomla extension, it works great!

I used it a couple of times already for a meta search script, Combined (HTML, JavaScript and PHP), and I had no issue with sourcerer. Documentation is well done, forum is always at hand, and Peter is always helpful!

And if you need more options, just go for the PRO version ;-)

I have used many of the sourcer extentions of joomla. It's really nice.

They providing the joomla extention with certain functionalities enabled is a big treasure for the joomla developers!

I really cannot imagine how to built my website without Sourcerer. It should be standard Joomla extension. Obviously support is on the same level. On forum I received reply to my question immediatelly. Rating: excellent!

I installed Sourcerer (now the PRO version ) on a site that will eventually have quite a lot of custom code, in modules and articles. It works better than I expected, and the support from the dev is very quick. Yet another 'no number' extension I could not do without.

Used this plugin to insert some quick codes into my Joomla site, and it worked like a charm! Need to mention that the pro version is definitely worth the money. It opens up lots more configurations, especially useful for detailed security purposes. Also, the support is great. I noticed one little bug in the pro version and requested support on the forum, and the author sent me a updated dev version within 12 hours! You won't regret paying for it.
