Buyer BEWARE! Crap company

Functionality
Program is full of bugs! Not responsive. Graphic elements are cut off. Title and Description are reversed. Modules do not work.
Ease of use
It's UNUSABLE--worthless. So no, it is not easy to use because you would have to be a software coder to fix these problems.

Upon purchase I got a download link. After I learned the VJ Cal was crap, I then learned it was impossible to contact them. Continue...

Their ticket help system did not work. I found the company of the ticket system and asked them to contact VJ for me. Continue...
Value for money
The company Paddle contacted VJ for me. VJ emailed and said they would get back to me. They never did. Not a good company.
I used this to: Use this? No, this can't be used. I was used and they got my money. Now I'll contact my bank to resolve this issue.

Functionality
There is no functionality. Almost two weeks and unable to get to work or get a response from support. There are a lot of negative reviews.
Ease of use
Don't know, still haven't been able to get it to work. The few positive reviews must have been written by the developer or reseller
Support
Completely non-existent. Submitted 2 two tickets and several replies to unanswered tickets. I have no idea how they can boast 24x7 support.
Documentation
I'm not new at this stuff. The fact that I still can't get it to work speaks volumes about the documentation.
Value for money
There is absolutely no value, Software doesn't work, can't get any assistance getting it to work. Want my money back. Big mistake.
I used this to: Integrating a Google calendar into a site. Exactly what it proclaims to do. My biggest mistake was not looking at and trusting the reviews before purchasing. Big mistake!!!

I write for support because we have a bug. We create a calendar from Joomla article, but the "Link to detail page" not working. No support!

Functionality
I had to manually adjust the database to get this component to work correctly. No options to customize even something simple like coloring.
Ease of use
Not very intuitive. Formatting dates and times is a very manual process.
Support
Good support but still too much work for what I'd expect from a paid component.
Documentation
Minimal.
Value for money
I honestly expected more.
I used this to: Local business association website.

Great Potential but buggy

Functionality
The upcoming events module and swatch were buggy and unusable. The calendar module and component are also buggy but usable.
Ease of use
Once you're past the bugs, ease of use is good. Recurring events confusing as there are two sets of Start- End dates on the form
Support
Reported several bugs. One bug was promptly fixed in a revision after I supplied the fix, no resolution on the others.

Value for money
Bugs severely limit the usefulness of this extension

Works exactly as it says. Easy and fast set up.
Ease of use
Very easy to use. Documentation is right on for what you are looking to do.
Support
Needed support the first week I got the software. Was answered in a timely manner. I wish that they had a forum.
Documentation
Easy to navigate through the doc.
Value for money
Great value for the money.
I used this to: All the web sites that need to show their events.

Functionality
Does exactly what the description says. Best thing for me is the private Google Calender support. Thats awesome, not many addons offer this.
Ease of use
Everything is arranged very clear. Of course you need the Documentation for the Google Calendar Setup, but that's it.
Support
I contacted the support only one time, there it was amaizing fast and very friendly! Just great.
Documentation
The inlusion part of the private google calendar I needed was very clear and well described.
Value for money
Awesome. Components with similar features are more expensive and much less profitable.
I used this to: private Google Calendar display on my joomla site. The designs do really look great, good responsive feeling and a good mobile support!

Does exactly what was required.
Ease of use
Setting up access to the Google Calendars with new API can be complicated, but the process was well documented.
Support
Very responsive even provided tips on getting the Events listing to look the way I wanted.

Excellent
I used this to: Provided a Calendar and Event list for our church website that is populated from a Google Calendar. The Google Calendar is populated by a Church specific software. This is the only extension that has a Joomla 1.5 version available that still supports Google Calendars.

After looking at several calendar components, this was the best option, other might have worked, but would have required lots of custom code
Ease of use
Elements are clearly labeled and easy to configure.
Support
Probably the fastest and most courteous support I have ever received.
Documentation
Very well done, I think all documentation should have visuals, as the help tremendously... It's much easier learning things visually.
Value for money
Excellent!
I used this to: I use this for lesson planning coordination for Sunday School teachers, as I can attach all the associated lesson within the calendar component, it is extremely easy to use with K2 items and Joomla articles.
