Advanced Module Manager

* See what modules are active for the menu item you are editing
* Edit modules in modal popup windows
* Option to not show modules that have no output (handy for things like dynamic menus)
* Option to show modules on all pages except the selected menu items (reverse functionality of normal selection)
* Many other publishing assignments for your modules! You can control publishing modules by:
---* Menu Item
---* Date
---* Sections / Categories
---* Articles
---* User Group Levels
---* Components
---* Languages
---* Templates
If you need even more module control, give MetaMod a try:

This extension solved it with a handful of clicks.
Amazing.
A must see.
How many times was i forced to completely change layout because of this problem with modules showing/not showing somwhere. Hours of work, adjust widths, etc....
Man you are a genius. And this piece of code SHOULD BE as default in Joomla!!!
Let's hope J!1.6 has better module assignment control.
if you put the advanced options to bottom of module page, design of page will be more better ;)
In the new version I will move the options to the parameter slide tabs on the right. Thanks for the tip.
I think everyone else out there has this same question, "Why are you not on the core Joomla! team?" You are able to do what we as members of the Joomla! community only dream about - and you make it so simple! Thanks again for all of your contributions.
Thanks! Means a lot!
Why not on the core team?... money and time!
Also, making my own stuff gives me the freedom to do it how I want... and I enjoy that.
Thanks! I love it when things go bam :)
If you do find any bugs (or usability issues), please let me know!
Thank you for your review. I'll try to keep it up :)
This should definitely become part of Joomla core.
This is all i needed!
I am so thankfull to NoNumber for all the extensions he(them) did.
They are all so usefull and practical, i just love them!
Thank you very much! An awesome extension!
Thanks! The whole reason I created it was because I missed those things too!
PS: NoNumber! = just me :)
BTW when will I know if I did not win the free holiday to Barbados? :)
Kudos
Good news! The results on the Barbados thing won't be in next month!
I am in contact with Stephen Brandon (from MetaMod) to see how we can make Advanced Modules and MetaMod more compatible.
Its simple to use - eg set dates when a module can be activated and deactivated , linking sections with modules etc .
This is indeed a very useful extension.
Hope the developer can keep on improving this extension ( eg exclude users from certain countries ,module to appear when user searches a certain keyword etc )
21 guns salute to the developer !
Thanks for the wonderful review.
Please post any ideas you have for improving/extending/enhancing Advanced Modules on my forum:
