Editor's Note
- This extension requires registration to download.
As an administrator, you often spend a lot of precious time browsing through the Joomla! menu in search of your articles, your menu items and so on.
With RSFinder! you can quickly access anything from articles, to menu items, modules or even components by using your keyboard. Just press the special character to trigger the search box, then type 2 or 3 letters, and there you have it.
It's guaranteed that you will be able to access anything in your Joomla! Administration panel in less than 2 seconds.
You can use RSFinder to lookup for articles, users, menu items, modules, plugins, Virtuemart products, K2 articles, RSEvents! events.
This is really a time saver for you if you frequently want access the already created articles, components or anything in the admin dock
Installing this component is one of the first things I do when launching a new website. Especially on websites with lots of content, this can save so much time. Works smoothly, easy to configure - a no brainer!
having such great functionality just there, without hastling around trying to find that component option, or editing that article that I don't remember in which category or section it was conceived, is just great! years and years around with mambo and then joomla, and now someone comes with this great yet light idea, even ajax powered, that allows keyboard-managing any joomla site from the backend? the question is: how could we have lived without this?
This is a great tool!
This tool allows you toe work faster because navigation is so easy.
Thx!

I want to make sure it's clear, this fantastic extension is NOT just a tryout, it is complete and uses the GPL license.
Give this developer credit for an amazingly useful modification to the Joomla administrator's backend!

At first I was sceptical about this plugin, but after installing I was pleasantly surprised that it was quick, easy and now probably something I'll consider adding to my list of extensions to install on all new sites.
I'll continue to test this on some of my larger sites and hopefully shouldn't experience any performance issues.
Great work, I would love to see where this plugin + module goes in the future!

I really wish that this and the google gears extension would play together but they dont. The extension itself makes finding articles and modules a breeze. It really does speed up administration when you know exactly what you are looking for.
If either this or the Gears extension can be modded to let both work you would have the perfect backend setup.

Well, this is a little pice of must have if you edit a lot in the Joomla Backend. Basickally it lets you jump into articles, modules, plugins, menues whith typing a few letters from the item you are looking for. If you have an article called Download and a menu item with the same name, its no problem, because the instant search result shows weather it is a module, article, plugin. Saves you 2-4 clicks per use!!!
I LOVE IT!!!

It's amazing how it's often the simplest of things that can make a big difference, and that is definitely the case with RSFinder. When updating sites more than a few pages and modules, a lot of time can be spent just trying to find what it is you want to edit. RSFinder makes that a breeze. Thank you!
Along with other reviewers, I'll be adding this as a default install on all my Joomla projects from now on.
