Advanced Module Manager is an extension that changes the way your Module manager works.
It adds a multitude of functions, like:
* See what modules are active for the menu item you are editing
* Edit modules in modal popup windows
* Option to not show modules that have no output (handy for things like dynamic menus)
* Option to show modules on all pages, except the selected menu items (reverse functionality of normal selection)
* Many other publishing assignments for your modules! You can control publishing modules by (ALL / ANY):
o Menu Item
o Homepage
o Articles
o Sections / Categories
o Components
o URL
o Date
o User Group Levels
o Languages
o Templates
o ...and more...
* You can also choose to mirror the assignment settings of another module!

This extension was really essential for Joomla 1.5 but even in 2.5 it has options you must have when wanting to be in control of modules on all your website's pages.
First time use can be a bit confusing but only change default options for what you need. Otherwise: Read the fine manual ;)

A perfect addition for creating very special module configurations, for us it started with the need for showing one module for public, another for registered, and a third for members of our club.
This one does this without any hassle. We have used this on 1.6,1.7 and 2.5. When an issue crept up with a specific module that wasn't compatible with this, the support was fast and effective, and solved it very fast.

I had some text in a module on the front page. When clicking on this text to read the whole text, i wanted the module to dissapear. No way! But then i found this extention and it took me 2 minutes to fix this.
This will now be in all my joomla installations.

If you want to assign a module to specific page only. e.g. On category and sub-category pages but not on item pages. This is for you! What is more, the support by the developer is excellent! I definitely recommend this extension. Thanks!
This is such an amazing extension, It took care of most of the basic module display with the basic access level system of joomla. With such a long list of options, Control that you gain on module display is just fantastic.

As like all of this developers extensions it is very useful and saves a lot of time assigning and setting up modules. It gives you many options for assigning modules that the Joomla core does not offer. If you ever have a problem support is fast and very competent. Hats off to the developer.
Since I have been using this module manager I don't quite know how I would manage without it! It provides a wonderful extension for configuring your modules in a 'macintosh-like' ease of use.
Lots of drop down options that are perfectly clear to the user.
Although this is a freebie, it is well worth the commercial 'fee' to remove the obligatory text. Even a donation would be well-received!

One of the best components out there, i use it now in all my sites as it does the job of the admin more easy than ever since. I am curious why Joomla havent inherited that already to their options. Keep up the good work mate !!
