Content Restriction Popup 2.0 is the rebuild of the classic restriction module for Joomla 4, 5, and 6 only: vanilla JS and CSS, Pop Any Article style presentation, smart triggers, frequency controls, and flexible force-login or soft-dismiss behavior. Joomla 3.x is not supported in this release.

Quick start

1. Install mod_content_restriction_2.0.zip via System → Install → Extensions
2. Content → Site Modules → Content Restriction Popup
3. Content: select your Login module, set title and intro
4. Layout: Light theme + Zoom effect (good default)
5. Behavior: On page load + Force login = Yes
6. Assign position + menu items, Hide Title, Publish, Save
7. System → Clear Cache
