Best thing is that you can choose between Google, Yahoo and Bing maps!

This extension is amazing and certainly worth buying.
I had a lot of questions after purchasing this extension (basically all due to my lack of knowledge of KML files). Cristi the developer answered all of my questions and was extremely friendly and helpful.

I am developing a mapping project and not sure whether this Component is working for me as there is no Demo version. Cristi has been so helpful offering me a money back within 15 days if it tested to be not suitable for me.

However, Cristi has helped me to customize the component to my need with very reasonable charges. Although sometimes it takes a little time for him to response, altogether he never failed to attend any of my enquiry.

Gonna treat him a drink one day. :)

The component is a powerful addon for maps in joomla. Some issues with jquery style but Cristi, the developer helped me greatly! Awesome!

I had a lot of questions, before I bought this extension. Cristi answered them all and provided all map types for me, which I wanted to have. The extension works flawlessly and I do not have to put in own code myself to get good looking maps. Absolutely great extension !!

From the product to the service, I couldn't ask for more! I'm in the middle of a big mapping project and needed a deliverable so the government agencies I'm dealing with can see our progress. They were more than satisfied and recommended that the whole project revolves around WISroGIS rather than the previous GIS system I was using. Again, incredible service, and cheap for what you get!

As a desktop GIS analyst with limited web or joomla experience I have found this to be by far the easiest web based GIS extension for Joomla. With support for a wide range of background mapping and the ability to incorporate layers from KML or SOBI2 it provides a lot of functionality whilst remaining relatively easy to get going. Unlike many extensions the license covers multiple websites and it was therefore very economical for me, being used on several sites. The email support from Cristi is excellent and he has always replied to any emails in a helpful and prompt manner.

For those that don't want to read a long review, take this advice: Buy this extension with out a second thought.

There is nothing to give the extension and it's developer Cristi other than the utmost praise.

From my initial contact with him, asking the most rudimentary of questions, through the installation and implementation the process was everything you would expect and hope for from a commercial extension.

It works as advertised with an intuitive interface and well-written guide.

Support is second-to-none. Cristi was there every step of the way with help as well as offering thoughtful advice leading to a flawless implementation.

I'm really speechless to describe this component. Endless possibilites in customization and usage. Google, Yahoo and Bing maps with many options within each.

Very sophisticated in contents yet simple to use with excellent support if needed.

I used it with the weather plugin, and it works beautifully!

Many available modules and plugins that go along with, which makes you confused as to where, how and what to do with them all as the ideas keep striking for many possibilities.

I needed an extension that integrates google maps (or bing/yahoo) with WMS layers (from GeoServer) in joomla in a proper Web-GIS way. WISroGIS exactly fulfilled my needs.

OpenLayers would have been my first option if I would have been forced to do this myself, even better that this stable and fine extension already does the job.

My only point of criticism is that the documentation in regard to WMS is a bit sparce. I am familiar with the WMS protocol for quite some years so it was no problem for me but I thinkg newbies might run into some trouble here. At least a few hints where the necessary information can be found would be helpful.

Easy-to-use plugin that provides simple maps, and can also be used to create more complicated maps, for example using geotagging and creating layers that are required.
Not a lot of documentation to be found on the web but the simplicity of the plugin makes up for that partly.
Had some problems with special characters not appearing but got a quick and helpful response from Christi.
I recommend this product.

This is a tremendously powerful and flexible mapping and map management tool. As a relative Joomla novice, and mapping bonehead, it took me a little while to get everything working correctly, and I can tell I've only touched the surface of what the ap can do. But the support from the developer has been pretty incredible. I mean, I peppered Cristi with questions and always got rapid help. What issues there are have more to do with all the various different projections used by different map sources than they do with the extension itself. I can't wait until they finish the manual, but until then, I know the support will answer any question! Okay, gotta go make maps...

I'm usually very hesitant about asking developers about the potential of their products for a particular need. Yet I really liked this map and thought there may be potential for a specific feature integrated with Sobi2, so I bit the bullet and sent of a question. I'm glad I did! Cristi has been very responsive, supportive and keenly interested in our need and is working towards meeting it!

I would not hesitate to purchase any of the tools available by WIS.ro. This particular one I will definitely integrate into future Sobi2 installations!

Takes some configuration but Christi gives excellent and timely support. Fully functional with sobi2. Highly recommended.

This plugin is just what I required for for my website.

Despite the lack of documentation, there are numerous examples to follow and the developer is extremely quick to provide assistance.It is suprisingly easy to have maps up and running very quickly.

I needed a good looking Map on the front page of my site and also in both the Categories and Details views of my SOBI2 directory.

I purchased the Power pack and got a fully personalized interactive maps solution displaying routes, navigation tracks, weather information, visitors locations etc.
Customisable pins, layers looks. Sobi2 integration or run as a sand alone Joomla mapping component/plugin the level of customisation available is huge.

Loved the fact that you can pick if you want Yahoo or Google maps, satellite or terrain views etc. You have so much control over the look. And you can have different content available on different layers of the same map.

As you drill down on my site I have it setup so the maps have different information depending on where you are on the site.

In terms of support, mapping components are testing for me. And this is actually plugins not a component. So I was not able to set it up myself. However, my email receipt of my purchase was followed by a personal email from Cristi offering me free support to set up the maps.
This support was top rate and my site is looking fantastic and works like a charm.
All setup and rocking in about 24hrs.

If you are looking for a well above average solution in mapping, this is it.
Integrates superbly with SOBI2 directory component too.

This plugin is exactly what I was seeking for my website, and does what I want, where I want, how I want. It proved quite difficult to get working initially, and required assistance from the author. That assistance was, however, rendered quickly and efficiently, and the author is to be commended for the level of service provided. The end result more than compensates for the initial problems, and I now have a SOBI2 integrated map which, I believe, significantly enhances the value of my website. I'm very happy with it indeed. The killer feature for me is the ability to hide location markers for specific categories from the SOBI2 frontpage map, thus allowing visitors to focus only on those categories they are interested in without having to first drill down to those categories. A very impressive plugin indeed.

When I discovered this plugin, I decided immediately to try it and I was not disappointed. It is a very high performance and who knows the GIS, and how difficult and expensive it is, this plugin is an excellent substitute light. Easy to use and intuitive. I could use my kml created with Arcgis fast and simple. Cristi is very helpful when something is not clear. A great plugin to try for those who work with maps.

This GIS module will surly assist any Joomla site to become spatially enabled! A module with endless possibilities!!! I have used this module on various solutions and will definitely continue explore the possible solutions. The quality of support is unmatched and is extremely satisfied.
