The Embed Google Maps plug in works wonderfully. I started out with some problems and received excellent -- actually outstanding -- customer support. I'd recommend it to anyone. [For some installations you may need php 5.4 or better. My problems stemmed from php 5.2]

Great job, awesome job, fantastic, incredible - you made my day!

Anyone wondering if this review is helpful or not - look no further than this plugin for your Google map needs. The others I tried are so useless, one almost wiped out my files - possible malicious code I will investigate - files actually got deleted.

This plug in installed fine and just performs!

I often work with joomla, and this is great plugin to embed maps on a site.
It could be even better if it had an option to change marker type.

P.S. for all the users that have a problem and got all maps on their site - solution is very simple - just delete the codes that you don't need, and leave the one that satisfy you.

The installation was very easy.
I have added maps to several of my client's sites with no problems. I highly recommend this.

The plugin is good and simple to install but I couldn't properly configure it, on the site it displayed many map boxes and just one showed the address I wanted, maybe more explanation would help for beginner users like myself.

Terrific plug-in, worked like a charm right out of the box.

Congratulation to the developer!

Just install and add the correct params to the article. Hardest bit was getting accurate map ref's as postcode was incorrect. Couldn't get the label param to work but that is minor for me.

It can't get any better and easier than this plugin. It just works, simple as that.

All features i need - very simple to use - good examples in description. Good job, thank you!

One little feature would be great:

Changing the border color and size in backend (if it is possible...)

Thank you for the positive feedback. The features that you're requesting are both available in the current (1.4.0) release. Updating the plugin to the latest release gives you access to them.

Perfect plugin for me, just install, enable the plugin and insert code to article...thank you!

Easy install and configuration. Only thing lacking for me is ability to place label [not link] on the map.. For example the name of my shop, and not just the street address

Other than that, happy to make the switch
Owner's reply

Thank you for the feedback! Since version 1.3.0 there's a new parameter 'info_label' that can be used for customizing the title of the label.

Excellent software.

How ever I wanted to know is there a way to change the marker and replace it with a logo that i want to use
Owner's reply

Google Maps JavaScript API allows customization of the embedded maps by using custom designed images. Unfortunately this plugin is not using the API, so replacing the marker with your own logo is not possible.

I really like SOBIPRO, it has a lot of unique and cool features.

The geomap feature is what hooked me to it.

But this extension allows me to leave SOBIPRO which with all its great features is very complex and need rocket science.

Thanks Petteri Kivimäki, if you had a PayPal donate link, I would use it.

Very easy way to add a google map anywhere in seconds. No need to go to google first to get an API key or a GPS location if you don't have it. Just type the adress and it works. Great plugin.

Excellent and so easy way to integrate Google Maps into Joomla.

It is really easy to setup and customize. I suggest to add the possibility to remove any Google Maps button to show only a clickable map (useful for tiny module position, as a little 'Find us' section in the homepage).
