I bought this extension in order to enable the process of good SEO on a new website easier to manage. It may do that, right now I'm not sure because support on this extension is so poor. I have asked explicit questions on this and even copied and pasted notices that I received from Joomla during certain processes of RSSEO. When I posted a support question, that question was literally completely ignored and I was given an answer that had nothing to do with my issue.
Finding and using quailty Joomla extensions is a great thing and I have found a few of those, but coming upon extensions that "may" be good but the developers offer terrible support just makes work harder and I don't think we need to pay to make our work harder for us.
That's why I'm giving RSSEO a fairly negative score. The product may be ok, but the support is not and that is just as critical a component as the extension itself in my opinion.

I have been using RSJoomla products for along time and just started using this. I have been doing SEO since 1998 and have seen a lot of online and offline seo software. RSSEO is the easiest and best SEO component for Joomla. I am not affiliated at all with RSJoomla and this is very honest testimonial.
Having just installed RSSEO!, I did notice that one of the installation settings, did create a fairly annoying formatting issue on my website. It was solved in no time through RSJoomla support system. Keep up the good work in terms of support responsiveness
I paid for another SEO software called: Smart SEO - DO NOT USE IT. I was ripped off. Very unfair. The support was useless, the forums were not being replied to by the owner and no-one cared.
Not with RS SEO. What a fantastic bit of kit, a proper support forum and helpful people who "care" about the development of the soltuions they sell.
I want to thank you guys for really helping me develop my sites and help me understand SEO all over again.. hehe. No-one can ever know everything... but thankfully you guys can and do.

Not being an SEO person I thought this looks a worthy purchase after buying 2 other RSJoomla products within a matter of days.
The jury is still out on the whether it will do something for our new site but if it is as good as their Firewall and Events modules then I am a RSJoomla product fan.

I would give this extension an extra star if I could. Wow, did it improve my search engine ranking and I haven't even optimized half my pages yet. I went from not being able to find myself anywhere in any search engine to being on page five of the top three search engines!
This extension lets you individually write all the info for each page. When the extension pulled up my pages for the first time, it was no wonder why I was no where to be found in the search engines. Every page description was exactly the same. Joomla simply adds your main meta description to every page. The title pages were just as blah.
I am able to optimize EVERY page with this extension. It takes time to optimize every page but the effort is well worth it especially since I have an ecommerce site.
I had no issues with installation and no bugs as of yet. I also use their Firewall and it is top of the line as well. This company sells quality products. Thanks!

Just wanted to say that both RSEvents and RSSeo work very well with my website. RSSeo has helped me find out things that were lacking seo wise on my Joomla! website and how to solve them. It beats any other SEF extension when it comes to page management. Definitely recommend.
RSSEO comes with thorough documentation that makes installation and configuration a quick and easy task. That also makes the job of educating and supporting our clients easy too.
Most importantly the component does what it says on the tin, we are in the process of applying it to all our clients' sites.
When we have had a query, the support offered has been timely, professional, courteous and complete - I recommend this component and RSJoomla to anybody running a professional website.

I found that the standard setup in Joomla was not very SEO friendly. After searching through the SEO extensions I came across this RSSEO. I purchased RSForm Pro and got this extension 75% off (follow their twitter account - lots of discount codes). I have found it easy to make all my articles, pages and forms SEO friendly and have really seen an increase in my google search response. I need to do a lot more work in RSSEO than some other products but this one is by far the most flexible when it comes to customising what you want. I have used this product on a commercial investing site and it has really helped to out-pace the competition. Well done RSJoomla! I will continue to purchase off you!

i thought this component could do something for a better optimization of joomla with search engines.
well you could install a free firefox component to get a better view of your stat's trend.

within 6-12hours they help me to support when i translate to
swedish and get litle error. Because i save the xml file in
wrong way. So Thanks to the RSJoomla team and our swedish
translator Stefan.

Actually rsseo a good component. The first error is eliminated good and the software runs stably. However, one must be careful in licensing methods. An unlimited license with 6 months warranty Download not like you are thinking. After 6 months, although blocked the download, but unfortunately also RSJoomla blocks the activation of new domains. So I really can not use the license on. So I pay the high price and after 6 months, I have the unlimited domain license, nothing more. RSJoomla however, said that this is so specified in the conditions. A domain license does not make sense and I fell for it. Too bad, because now I will look for another software. Many other vendors offer a fair license, I have to get used me now.
Easy to setup, clearly explains what you need to do get your metatags and descriptions better.

Great component once you get the hang of it and work out the best way to use it, which was easy as I just asked the guys at RS and within a few hours I got a very detailed response.
I am not sure why others seem to have problems with data being lost, ours is fine even after a page refresh.
Anyway like all RS extensions this is another one to add to your Joomla Site Shopping basket.

For this price, I expected something that works well. And to be honest it does not.
What is the point of having the pages section when every time there is a new update you lose all your changes that you made, and if you have a website with 300 + pages, it is a very time consuming process. Also if you do a new crawl you also lose all the changes that you have made. Every page will be blank so to fix that, you need to go to every page and select restore previous. That can take hours to fix. The help centre was of no help. And I personally found it time wasting and pointless.
For me this component is still in beta stages and needs some serious improvements.

I admit, I had problems getting this to work correctly at first, which is why I can't give it a mark of Excellent. But my problems were due to limitations of my hosting setup, and the customer support was truly excellent... I gave them access to my installation and they found a solution to get it working properly. (Including ...tracking down a conflict with another extension that wasn't setup properly) You can't say better than that! The component is intuitive and simply works as expected... having used others from RSJoomla, I'd expect nothing less.
I agree with escafandra. I´m surprised to see so many possitive reviews on this component. I recall that when I purchased it 6 months ago or so there were other negative reviews (that are now gone), I´m sorry that I did not pay attention to them and was convinced by the possitive ones. You are warned, buy this component at your own risk. there are other components out there far better, more hustle free, with much better support service, with same features if not more, and they are free!!!

However I have just experienced troubles on one of my webhotels on one.com.
Through really good support we (RSjooomla.com and me) managed to solve the problem.
The problem was not the component but the host - and I had to change!
Nevertheless I can recommend RSSEO:
-Good component
-Easy to access and setup
-Outstanding support!

I have to say that after using this component for the past 8 months it has been the worst purchase I have ever made. If you are using any of the yootheme templates like I do, keep out of buying this component. It is not compatible with yootheme (don´t know about other template brands) and the customer service is worst than non existant. their directions to help keep going round in cirles and then they go quiet, and then a marygoround again. The forum is weird, there is no forum. for every query you open they ask you to write them a private case, so potential buyers cannot make up an idea of the things that go wrong with this component, in my case a lot of them. i wondered for long time if they were taking the mikey out of me. to sumup, a waste of money and a waste of time.
