I installed a very powerful photo gallery extension and found that it worked flawlessly unless the web address entered was different than what was in the joomla code. In other words, I had the website as www.example.com in the code and if the client put in example.com it didn't work. With this one simple extension, problem solved!!! No matter if the user enters the web address with or without the www it redirects to www.example.com. I am so thankful! This plugin absolutely rocks!
I recently installed a gallery that made Ajax calls and found that the Ajax call would only work if you requested the site without the www prefix. Installed this plug-in to redirect to site without www and problem solved! Very simple to install and configure and works great!
