Note. This plugin installs connection bridge onto your new Joomla website, which is necessary for data exchange between two Joomla websites. After installation, you’ll be redirected to CMS2CMS website in order to complete the migration.

Steps to Take before Migration:
- Install a new Joomla and make sure that both Joomla websites are available online.
- Have Joomla (old) website FTP access details at hand (host, username, password) - you use them to install connection bridge on Joomla (old) site.
- Set up custom URL structure for Joomla (new) (it should be set before the migration for internal links to work correctly. If you change them after migration, site navigation will be broken).

Installation
- Download extension zip. file
- Go to Adminpanel -> Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Upload Package File, choose zip.file.
- Press Upload and Install button.
- Go to Components and choose CMS2CMS-j-upgrade
