The extension allows you:

✔ Content images and featured images

--Have a live chat with our support team (24/7)
--Complete your data migration to Joomla starts at 39$ (the price though depends on the amount of content you're up to migrate from WordPress).
--Use Migration Insurance to restart the migration process in case something went wrong.

Compatible with Joomla 2.5.x - 3.6.x and WordPress 4.1.x - 4.7.x

Note. CMS2CMS doesn’t migrate local websites and design.

Steps to Take before Migration:
- Install Joomla and make sure that Joomla and WordPress websites are available online.
- Have WordPress website FTP access details at hand (host, username, password) - you use them to install the connection bridge to WordPress website.

How to Install?

  1. Download the extension in a zip. format;

  2. Go to Control Panel -> Extensions -> Manage -> Install;

  3. Click ‘Choose File’. Select zip.file you’ve just downloaded and press ‘Upload and Install’ button;

  4. Go to ‘Components’ and choose ‘CMS2CMS: WordPress To Joomla Automated Migration’

How to use? (Read me and watch the screenshots. I mean it)

  • Provide your Existing WordPress website URL address;

  • Download the Connection Bridge;

You'll see how a zip file named 'CMS2CMS' is downloaded. Inside of this zip file, there is 'cms2cms' folder. Extract it;

Using FTP client software, like Filezilla, provide your WordPress website access details (host, username, and password); Then place the extracted ‘cms2cms’ folder to the WordPress root folder (where index.php file is located);

  • Go back to the plugin and click 'Verify Connection';

  • Map the data you’re up to move to Joomla;

  • Select additional options ('Migrate content images', 'Migrate metadata' (to preserve SEO rankings) and '301 Redirects from old URLs to the new URLs';

  • Run Free Demo Migration to preview the results first;

  • Check how much the transfer will cost you and go directly to the Complete migration step.

This tool allows you effortlessly and safely migrate your WP site and its contents.

Ease of use

Automated tool. It says everything. The only thing you need is to provide URL's of your old WP website and your new Joomla! site.

Documentation
Value for money

It's much cheaper and faster than manual migration.

Functionality

Imported all my posts and related images. Nice plugin.

Ease of use

Not only that the service is extremely fluid and intuitive, but the support is by far the best I've seen.

Support
Value for money

Reasonable enough. It was well worth it.

I used this to: I've used their service several times, and it went flawlessly each time. The only problem I had was the poor organization of the original site. But I can't expect an automated system to fix stupid user mistakes (creating useless and empty categories, and others).
