Terrible support since 1.5 year - after the acqusition

Functionality
I liked the functionality and bought it 6-7 years so far. Happily paid in full amount for the yearly basis renewal.
Ease of use
Support said; EasyDiscuss is Joomla 5 compatible, but based on official website, it is not compatible. Shame on incompetent Support
Support
Since the acquisition, it is terrible, Support does not know the product and get back to you with silly counter questions after week(s).
Value for money
Not any more, especially I consider years of investment and money is just wasted.
I used this to: I use EasyDiscuss as an "Question & Answer" for my business website

Functionality
While the functionalities are great because they are very modern and diverse, if support is not efficient it is not worth it
Ease of use
It is very easy to use but if their support forum closes the visibility of other customer issues then,
Support
Since acquisition : private posts has been set by default on support forum so you work without knowing what bugs are present
Documentation
Documentation could be better, once your subscription is over you cannot access it anymore which is debatable(support I understand)
Value for money
No value for money since acquisition as answers are delayed, and no more sent directly to developers but pre filtered callcenter like style
I used this to: I used it for forum, you don't want to gamble with your community, don't purchase anything from an unreliable company even if I deeply respect certain of their developers who create some wonderful features.

Functionality
Core basic forum features are missing. Bugs all over the place, even to basic functions like merge.
Ease of use
While it has a general clean interface, it cannot possibly act as a real forum software, as they are very basic features missing.
Support
Stackideas try their best to support it, but it's a badly written softaware.
Documentation
Value for money
I would personally never use easydiscuss again. I do not consider it a good piece of software and i think it cannot even compare to others.
I used this to: Tried to use it on a big forum. It made a real mess on our community, as it lacks several basic features that other forum software have, and it has so many bugs that our developers simply gave up on it, and we'll migrate to another forum.

Works like a charm. No problems yet.

Functionality
Works like a charm. No problems yet. The backend is clear, clear and very logical.
Ease of use
Very extensive and not easy to survey at the beginning. Training period about two days. But very structured and clear.
Support
Fastest and most competent support I have ever experienced. Help with customization was above all expectations.
Documentation
Documentation is only available to members, but it is not really necessary either. The software is largely self-explanatory.
Value for money
The price is not insignificant, but the range of functions and the stability make the software worth the price.
I used this to: A thematic forum with challenging topics around ethical questions. The site is still under construction.

Functionality
The component is an "hybrid" it serves various purposes, the reason why I chose it
Ease of use
Easy for both administrators and users, the built-in (simple) composer lacks some option due to the hybrid nature of the component
Support
StackIdeas support is one of the best, there are very few around with this level of great support
Documentation
Well documented, some parts need updates
Value for money
More than just talking about money, the quality of their coding is top notch
I used this to: Discussions/questioning interactivity

Functionality
Perfect. Haven't had a single glitch and I've made dozens of different posts, admin tasks, PM's and nothing has glitched.
Ease of use
Off, On. Easy checkbox everything! Stunning number of parameters.
Support
I can't begin to praise their level of help - twice I had questions, twice someone sorted me out and provided the "where to" screenshots!
Documentation
If you have some experience, it's thorough, if you need a "how to" you'd ask support.
Value for money
Something this good requires payment and some extra thanks!

Backend heeft prima configuratie tools
Ease of use
EasyDiscuss laat zich redelijk makkelijk configureren. Het kost wel enige tijd gezien de vele mogelijkheden die dit platform biedt.
Support
Werkelijk een uitstekende service verlening ontvangen op een probleem dat N.B. werd veroorzaakt door additionele software. Dank Arlex Wong!
Documentation
Er kan veel dus valt er veel te lezen ook. Uitleg is duidelijk
Value for money
EasyDiscuss is een apart forum/ticket tool op de markt, het geld zeker waard

Beyond options. A must have for Joomla. Compared to other forums, the functionalities go on and on.
Ease of use
Read the documentation and the ease of use is by far the best. Documentation is updated
Support
Support is suburb, a 10+++ rating. Issues? - No questions asked they fix it in seconds.

Documentation is detailed, explained, illustrations, pictures and other tweaks included
Value for money
Valued at the cost. I've found nothing better.
I used this to: Replacement for Forum. Style it to fix our needs.

Functionality
Multiple features in a modern, flexible forum that integrates smoothly with other software to provide an excellent user environment.
Ease of use
Very user friendly with multiple tooltips and works straight after install on any template.
Support
Stackideas support is fast, effective at resolving issues, creative in approach and responsive to feedback, overall top quality in every way
Documentation
The Online documentation could be better but the wealth of tooltips and detailed support forum answers mean I do not need it.
Value for money
Tremendous value (as are all Stackideas products) for a small investment with the next major upgrade due to match EB5 and EasySocial 1.4
I used this to: My community website on Joomla 3.4.4. I only use the latest versions of what I consider to be quality extensions and EasyDiscuss is definitely in that category, working in perfect harmony out of the box with the other products on my website.
