JoomRoster was designed for those who would like to display members in a list. This component allows you to create categories of members and assign members to each category. Category views are responsive in nature and will allow you to create menu items linking to a single category or all categories.

Functionality
Displays photo, basic info email address. Basically it does what it's supposed to do.
Ease of use
Took some configuring to have it display the info I wanted. I'm still working on having bio information displayed.
Support
Had some problems after installation, Terry responded to my support requests. He provided a link to the update.
Documentation
Average.
I used this to: A car club of 110 members. Other extensions I looked at were too much for what I needed or just downright ugly.

Best Free "Employee Section" component on the extensions directory.

Functionality
Does one thing, and does it well.
Ease of use
Requires a bit of configuration. You probably will have to fiddle with it a bit to get it working like the demo.
Documentation
Sparse.
I used this to: Building a site for a research group at a university.
