The Digifolio component makes it easy to display all your projects on your website (portfolio). You can show the important information about your project online including images, start/end date, e-mail, webaddress, etc.
A lot of possibilities are integrated in the DigiFolio component. That's why it's versatile and perfect to use for any website. The CSS styles are easy adjustable and the you can use fancybox/lighter/milkbox or PrettyPhoto popup support for images. Projects can be put into categories, images of your project can be watermark on-the-fly with your own text and many options more!

Few bugs are fixed for servers which do not display the frontend views correctly (mosty errors). Images which cannot have a watermark should now display correctly and a few language descriptions are changed.

Ofcourse this version also have the backup/restore function integrated. Yes, you can restore a backup which is created with Digifolio 2.5 (for Joomla! 2.x) into this Joomla! 3 version.
Multi-lingual support is fully implemented according the Joomla! 3 principles. For each project you can set the language which is installed in your Joomla! environment. The component displays the projects and categories in the proper language on your multi-lingual website.
Three plugins are installed with the DigiFolio Component. These are added to enjoy the component even more!
The "Content" plugin and can be used to add (and display) DigiFolio projects from within your articles. This way you do not have to create extra menu items if you want to add a project to your articles. The "Insert Button" plugin which adds a button below the Joomla! text editor so you can add an project easily into an article. And the final plugin is the "Search" plugin which adds search functionality to the Joomla! search engine. This way your users can also search for keywords in your Digifolio projects.
There are several ways to display the DigiFolio projects. All are neatly sorted on category, displayed as thumbnails or just directly in a list with all your projects. It's up to you how to display your projects and you can customize them even more using the CSS settings in the backend.
Previously we used Akeeba Live Updates for our Digifolio component. But now it is replaced with the default Joomla! update functionality. Easy updates now and in the future!
