Functionality

It used to works as its told in the full description years ago, but now, with new joomla 3.x versions, some of the functions stopped working

Ease of use

Easy to install and use. Very intuitive and straight forward.

Documentation

There is no enough information about some functions.

Value for money

Too expensive for what you get working in your website at the end.

Functionality

The component functions well - you can extend it's functionality if you like to tinker with the code.

Ease of use

Fairly easy to use with many options. It takes a while to get through all of them. Plan for time to work with it.

Support

Excellent! Personal attention is rare - JoomUltra delivered.

Documentation

Via forums - most questions that I had were not too hard to find.

Value for money

No way I could build this cheaper. Good value for the money. Don't complain - this is a complicated component to produce.

I used this to: I use this component on a NASDAQ company web site. Makes me look professional. I am a single developer trying to get a lot done. This is the kind of component that makes my job easier.

This module is highway robbery!

It is based on free html5 maps; the reason i forked out the crazy 95usd was for ease of administering the map and using it within my site with other modules

There are no instructions with this module and if you ask your simply told to use each of the functions and figure it out! simply terrible for the amount. ive purchased loads of other modules for lots less from other vendors and instruction is standard and is always great.

This one is a rip off!

secondly it is not compatible with any other joomla modules so if your thinking to integrate with something like jreviews forget it there will be lots of coding required.

this is simply an admin tool for the map nothing else. based on that its not worth the 95usd as its available for free

Further the world map only has 175 countries and there there 253 countries in the world!!!

joomla should remove this extension period, its really bad and gives paid extensions a bad name.

The map component is really easy to use and works straight away after installation. Lots of features - did exactly what it promised to and what we needed it for. I recently had a site issue and the support I received was fantastic - fixed immediately! I would highly recommend as a map solution for Joomla.

After some problems in the beginning (because I have a lot to do and I am in a hurry, so no time to look properly) which were professionally solved by the developer of this great extension, I want to say that this component, module is just perfect.

Load of options (which confused me in the beginning) which give loads of possibilities.

You can even style all the regions (countries) by by batch

great styling options

looks extremely professional and adapts perfectly to templates

We were looking for an interactive world map and this map fitted the bill perfectly. It's easy to install and very flexible. We asked for some changes and these were quickly made by the developer. He also put in a lot of time and effort sorting out a problem with the display for us when it conflicted with the template, we can't thank him enough for that! Excellent support for a good product.

After going around trying everything out there to have a world map module with many different maps for many different users, markers and contents, the old saying "you get what you pay for" has been proven again. It's the most expensive out there, but it's worth every cents... It does every thing you want it to and a little more. Developer is uber-responsive and provides support and advice. Enjoy!
