JT Navi is a visitor guide and local content discovery extension for Joomla! 6. It brings guided questions, configurable starting topics and relevant source links into one interface, helping visitors explore your content without needing to know how your website is organized.

Developed by JoomTheme, JT Navi combines an administrator component with a companion site module. You choose the article categories, configure your own source cards and shape the starting points around your audience.

A guided starting point for your visitors

Give visitors a clear place to begin with editable, reorderable topic buttons. Each button can have its own visible label and search question, making it easier to introduce common topics, useful resources and frequently requested information.

Visitors can explore results and open source links in a new tab while keeping their original question and guide available.

Your content, your sources

JT Navi searches public Joomla article titles and introductions alongside manually configured source cards. Use your own labels, summaries and links to connect visitors with selected documentation, service information, tutorials or community resources.

You control the sources presented through the extension. Custom source URLs act as links; JT Navi does not crawl those external pages.

Local discovery without an AI dependency

The core local search and guidance features work without an OpenAI API key or external AI requests.

Optional OpenAI summaries are experimental and disabled by default on new installations. When enabled and with visitor consent, the current question and up to five public source excerpts are sent to OpenAI.

Clear scope

JT Navi focuses on guided discovery of public article titles, introductions and configured source summaries. It does not provide full-site semantic indexing or conversational memory. Each question is processed independently.
