Functionality
selling digital media like sofware, magazines makes it a brease with mediashop. KISS aproche is verry nice.
Ease of use
10 min and your good to go..some things are differend from other shops, but if you understand the principle nothing more to say then great
Support
support is next level.. quick, helpfull and found 1 issue and solved the next day. this kind of support is definitly money well spent.
Documentation
i read quickly the manual.. not needed for the most parts.. its verry well documented
Value for money
nothing less that 100% value for your money.. well maintained en great support. most extention support can learn from Kriss
I used this to: selling digital media (magazines) . in combination with Payage payment gateway.. on time setup.. and relax and let mediashop do his thing.. i can realy advice you to try mediashop and payage gateway. nothing complex and easy to maintain. also for less joomla minded people.

Functionality
Easy to move around in and with many options. Many functions that are useful for selling a file. Uploading as well as downloading.
Ease of use
Self explainable and very logical setup. The functions in MediaShop makes it easy to move on to the next task
Support
Quick support and if you don't close the support tag, they are following up on it
Documentation
Give a great overview of the product. But have not used it a lot since
Value for money
Great value for money. Has all that we need to set up a functional e-commerce download system
I used this to: Have been using it the last couple of years and have just upgraded it to version 12. Using MediaShop for selling database files (excel, csv and PDF) for college athlete's with college coaches in US

Functionality
Very happy with this. It's simple and has just the right features.
Ease of use
Very good. Took very little time to set up and the Paypal instructions were really helpful.
Support
Again excellent - responses very fast. We first bought this a year ago and I did a lot of testing then.
Documentation
Unusually good! Particularly the section on Paypal. Had no problems setting it up.
Value for money
It does exactly what we need so yes, this is excellent value for money.
I used this to: Selling downloads of video tutorials. We had been using a streaming provider but found that all our customers really wanted was the ability to download - so this is perfect.

Functionality
Does what it says it will do. I was able to get PayPal sales for my client up and running in a very short period of time.
Ease of use
Straight forward. No surprises. Each area is logically broken down into segments you need to set up.
Support
I had one small problem and their support staff were able to help me sort it out. Very helpful and pleasant.
Documentation
Extensive documentation. Well written and organized. A lot of time has been spent on writing it.
Value for money
I took Option 1: £20 for 1 year of support. I thought that was a good deal.
I used this to: ... a client website to sell MP3s. She's already had a sale with it and is quite pleased that she now has passive income being generated from her site.

Easy to work with and documentation helps with learning how to develop for individual useage.

Easy to use - well developed documentation

The support at MediaShop is second to none. I asked for help with two small issues over a weekend and received replies within minutes.
Documentation
The documentation is through and well laid out. And regularly improved upon when something not clear.
Value for money
Very good value especially because of the support.
I used this to: Providing digital downloads of CDs for a client with a website in English and German.
I needed to slightly adapt the component for my client's individual needs and Chris at MediaShop supported me with the necessary changes.

Functionality
I spent 2 hours comparing the main Paid download components and reading their documentations. I bought Mediashop and had new good surprises.

Good for everything it does.

Like the Car's song : I guess you're just what i needed.

I had a little problem with the paypal configuration and the author solved it in the minute.

Anyway, rather that setting up a whole Virtue Mart solution to just sell one product, this is the solution to solve the impossibility to set up a simple download with no hasssle !

I bought this extension while ago, and it has been working great for me. But the really awesome part is support. I have placed some questions that have been answered in hours. Last time I asked for a feature that was not included: at the end of the week a new release was out with the feature I asked for. So I have only good words for the extension and programmer.
