The eXtro Video Embedder plugin is used to embed videos from different video platforms into your Joomla article.
It supports many video platforms, embeds the videos responsive, and the best: it's free!

The plugin can be used stand-alone by entering the tag manually into a article and providing the correct parameters - please refer to the manual how to do this.

However, it is much more fun and convenient to use the editor plugin that comes with the Video embedder.

This editor plugin makes embedding a video simply a breeze - 3 clicks and you're done!

This is how it works:

While editing a Joomla article, all you have to do is to click the 'Embed video' button to embed a video.

A lightbox popup will then open, and all you have to do is to select the video platform and enter the respective valid video ID (or the video link in case of a mp4 video).

Next, click embed to automagically create the correct plugin tag!

That's it - save your article and have a look at it in the frontend.
Here, the plugin automagically replaces the video embed tag with the actual video!
Even better - the video will be embedded responsive!

Please refer to the manual (documentation) how to get the video ID for the different video platforms.
For each of them, we provide a easy to understand description - all you need to know is how to CopyPaste!

UPDATED Version: 1.1.0
In this updated Version, we've added Facebook support.
This means that you can now embed Facebook videos on your site simply by adding a tag to your article.
This variety makes our Video Embedder the most flexible and easiest to use video embedding Plugin for Joomla!

Now it's also possible to use the plugin in frontend editing!

When your Video had a completely white first frame and your background was also white, this looked strange, so we are now using the frame with offset 0.5s

However, we do not agree with your review of the 'Documentation'.
We provide (and always provided) a very detailed manual for the Video Embedder, which explains how to use the plugins (System and Editor).
This manual also explains how to get the video ID for each of the video platforms that can be used in our plugin.
Just click the Documentation Link to the right above the ratings.

The same applies to the forum section - there is a forum section, you can get there by clicking the Support Link to the right above the ratings.
Please note that the forum is used for questions and discussions, not for documentation.
