Site Navigation

Scroll to Top is a lightweight yet dynamic plugin for Joomla. It adds a linked button which appears when the users scroll down, and disappears when users reach the top of the page. This button quickly scrolls the page to the top once it is clicked.

Scroll to Top gives your website better navigation and adds a more professional look to your current layout. This free plugin is a must-have extension for website with long pages.

Features

Compatibility: The plugin works well on Joomla 2.5, Joomla 3 and later versions.
Ever-present: Scroll to Top button appears on both of backend and frontend. You can turn it on/off at backend, of course.
Optional Js Library: Mootools or jQuery? This is no big deal with Scroll to Top.
Customizable Button: The button appears in text or image type. It’s all up to your choice. When downloading the plugin, you are provided with a totally free images pack.
Nice Style: Scroll to Top button has clean and nice style. However, you can change the color of background, text, hover background and hover text.
Flexible Position: There are various options to set the button position. You can use these options to change offset/padding of it.
Scroll Duration: This option adjust the duration of smooth scroll effect.
Scroll Transition: Scroll to Top supports 31 cool animation scroll effects.
Custom CSS: If you don’t like the default style, the plugin allows you to customize and style the button via CSS.
Easy to use: Even if you don’t know anything about Joomla, you still can use this plugin. All you need to do is to download, install and enable it.

Functionality

This extension is running on different sites and is working very well for me. It scrolls to the top of the page, very useful for mobile.

Ease of use

It has been very easy to install and configure. There are different possible options to choose to make a very nice scroll-to-top button.

Support

I did not need support but believe they are very good in this as well...

Documentation

The documentation is enough and clear and reachable. I just gave a look at it for infos inside the extension are clear and enough.

I used this to: I use this button on several sites to improve navigation and UX. Te button is very useful for long pages epecially on mobile sites.

Again, it is so intuitive to install, but be sure to download the images zip file... also free!

I used this to: A client asked for a feature like this since they use a one-page website. They felt a reader/visitor would want to zip back to the top, even though the menu is always visible. I love this plugin so much, I'm going to add it to more sites.

Good explanations, and the plugin uses is near self-explanatory

I used this to: All my websites where the scroll to top feature is needed. Some templates include a similar feature, but if it is not a good, I use this plugin. Also, ideal for custom made template, and the likes based on Joomla default's one: Protostar ;-)
