Work Force is a staff/employee listing component. Create departments and add employees to display your company's staff along with images, bios, availability, social media links and contact information. WF uses email cloaking to hide your employees' email addresses from spammers and an optional contact form with captcha security prevents non-human form submissions.

The extension works well overall though, not being able to assign multiple departments to an employee is a serious problem.

Ease of use

Easy to use but limited in features. I would class this as a simple employee extension.

Limited documentation but works for a limited extension.

Value for money

Pretty good value for money, you pay for what you get.

I used this to: Solicitors website.


Very good, a directory with lots of data associated with a person. Tagging doesn't work very well. Does not work well with core Joomla.

Ease of use

Easy to setup, implement and add content. However it does not work well with core Joomla components, the tagging does not work as it should.


Very limited, support posts go unanswered and it does not seem to be as well supported as their other extensions



Value for money

If you want a simple, easy to use people directory then its great. Don't expect much support or additional modules or plugins.

Easy to install, easy to use, and the support is fast and fantastic.

Simple yet great

I have been using this for several years now at Triad Games and it is a valuable tool for any company, project team or other sites that want to show off staff, contributors, or other important members.

Support is great, though I have not had any initial problems, the staff is always willing to help with questions about customizations and improving the product.

Sincerely, I would never have managed to get my website working without this extension... The client wanted a directory, with a specific look&feel, just because a contender already had it... Not only Workforce worked well out of the box, but also it proved to be quite easy to personalize (the code is quite accessible), and the support was just perfect, helping me sort out each issue in a few hours. I always prefer open-source solutions, but I'm glad I spent a few bucks on this one.

I had been going nuts with some CCK products, trying to make them work the way I wanted as a biz directory. I've used IProperty by these guys, which is great so I thought I'd give this a try. Easy to install and configure. Was up and running in under 5 minutes and is the ideal solution for my application.
