The Extended Version of Content Statistics include a great new backend interface (a component) where you can see ALL ACTIVITY recorded by the system, displayed in a comprehensive and very functional way.
In other words: you can see WHO did WHAT, WHEN and from WHRE, without skipping any information.
Content Statistics modules give you great statistical and ranking data form the items on your site, and you can make beautiful graphics with this information, for your own use as the site admin, or for your users to see. But with the Extended Version, you can have complete activity log report for everything that is happening, row by row, action by action.
How many times did John Smith downloaded the document A in the month of May?
What articles did Claire read this week? how many times each?
Using the new backend interface and all the filters it provides, this info is instantly available to administrators.

I had installed this extension on my site because it was the ONLY thing out there that tracked well with K2. When I wanted to take the extension further I contacted the developer (Germinal Camps) for customization. He was a pleasure to work with, and delivered exactly what I needed in a timely manner. I highly recommend this extension!
I already used Content Statistics in my site for graphic reports but I recently found out this new extension for it which is just great. you can now not only have a summary of what is happening (you know, "count" rows), but also see, line by line, what users are doing. specially useful to see when user log in and what they do. very recommended for admin analytics. excellent customer service too, as usual.

Absolutely love the program! It is easy to install and it comes with a manual in how to use it (very handy). It is not difficult to use, once you know what you can do. You can have statistics on the front end of your website - either on the sides or in the actual article. And you can also have a list in the back-end. The price is worth it as the support is really good.
