As the JCK Editor has matured over the years there has been many plug-ins created for it! This means great new features, but with every JCK plugin installed there is a chance of causing a degrade in performance. The JCK Editor shouldn’t feel slow, particularly when compared to JCE and TinyMCE. If it does, try these trouble shooting tips: http://www.joomlackeditor.com/installation-guide?start=32
Hi, Google Chrome made some changes which broke the editor’s right click dialog screen to edit tables, cells, rows and columns. This was addressed over a month ago to date in version 6.1.3. If you upgrade it should resolve this for you. I hope this will assure you of our continuing efforts and swift response.
The only slight problem is that it doesn't work on the front end with some templates. It has a tendency to lock page scrolling, so front-end work still needs Joomla's standard editor.
Apart from that, a great extension!
Hi Sohrab, that you for your kind review. The RTL and LTR should happen ‘automatically’ depend upon language type. So if you choose something like Arabic it should align to the right automatically for you.
Hi TimbTech, that you for your 'Amazing' review! Its gr8 to have such positive feedback.(o:b
I had installation problem which I thought may have been related to the latest release. No point in publishing a review until investigating my issues. Reported this in JCK Editor forum and got an instant response with details how to resolve my problem leading to a perfect installation.
Easy to recommend this product, it is doing what it should be, working as well as the best editors I have used and has wonderful product support. Looking forward to exploring the full potential of JCK Suite.
Hi Steve, we are delighted that we could help. (O:b
There are some compatibility issues with IE10. You need to be in IE10's "compatibility mode" (emulate IE9) in order to browse and upload media and to insert line breaks in the editor. A small inconvenience that I hope the JoomlaCK folks will fix soon.
Thank you for the review. Just to let you know that the latest release (JCK Suite 6.1) now comes with support for IE10 (standard mode).
