A4Pro Scrolling Text is a Joomla extension for YOOtheme Pro that adds a flexible scrolling text and ticker element directly to the YOOtheme Pro Builder.

YOOtheme Pro is required to use this extension and is not included.

The element can be used for news tickers, announcements, promotional messages, service notices, event information, opening hours, product updates and other short pieces of continuously moving content.

Scrolling Text directly inside YOOtheme Pro

Content is entered using the integrated editor. Each paragraph becomes an individual item within one continuous horizontal scrolling sequence.
Multiple messages can therefore be displayed in a single ticker without creating separate Builder elements.

The scrolling loop is implemented using CSS and does not rely on continuous JavaScript width calculations.

Formatted content

The editor supports selected formatted content including links, bold and emphasized text, small text, line breaks, spans and lists. Unsupported markup and unsafe executable URL schemes are filtered before output.

YOOtheme Pro integration

A4Pro Scrolling Text integrates with the standard YOOtheme Pro element workflow and supports familiar Builder options including text styles, text colors, positioning, margins, maximum width, responsive alignment, visibility, custom CSS, classes, IDs and attributes.

The content field can also be used with compatible YOOtheme Pro Dynamic Content sources.

Mobile and accessibility

Pause-on-hover is limited to devices with a genuine hover-capable pointer so touch devices do not remain unintentionally paused after interaction.

The optional reduced-motion setting allows the element to respect the browser or operating system preference for reduced animation.
