What it does

• One switch per extension. You choose which extensions update by themselves. Every switch starts off.
• Runs in the background with Joomla's Scheduled Tasks. By default it looks for new versions twice a day and installs them once a day; you can change both.
• Update by hand when you want: one extension, a selection or everything, with a live progress panel that shows each result.
• A full history of every install, skip and failure, with the reason in plain words.
• A health check that tells you when something would stop updates from running, and how to fix it.
• Paid extensions too. AutoPilot uses the download keys you already entered in Joomla.
• Checksums are verified when the developer publishes one, and a version that keeps failing is no longer retried until you look at it.
• Its own clean screens in the Joomla administrator, in light and dark, also on a phone.
• English, German, French, Italian and Spanish included.

Good to know

AutoPilot updates extensions, not Joomla itself. The free edition does not take a backup before an update and cannot undo one, so keep making regular site backups.
