Appearance settings

Choose from ten ready-made colour presets or create your own look. Adjust the main interface colours, dashboard cards and fonts, and select light mode, dark mode or Follow Joomla. Colours also apply to menu hover states, tabs, buttons and other supported administrator elements.

A compact colour picker includes Set and Cancel actions, while an appearance preview lets you review your choices before saving.

Sticky controls

Keep the administrator header, sidebar menu, action toolbar and article or module tabs visible as you scroll. Switch each sticky feature on or off individually, or use the master switch.

My Tools menu

Place your favourite administrator shortcuts together in a My Tools menu above Home Dashboard. Use a searchable checklist to select individual Joomla tools and available installed-component links. Administrators only see shortcuts their permissions allow.

Admin Toolkit appears first inside My Tools for users permitted to manage its settings. A Safe settings shortcut opens Toolkit without its appearance and sticky overrides, helping you recover from an unsuitable configuration.

Compatibility and updates

Supports Joomla 5 and 6 using the default Atum administrator template. Updates are delivered through Joomla’s built-in extension update system and preserve existing Toolkit settings.

When installed on a site with Sticky Admin active, Toolkit disables that plugin and enables its own sticky controls. Sticky Admin’s saved settings and files are retained.
