EAC Auto Images ALT is a lightweight Joomla system plugin that automatically adds ALT attributes to all `` tags that are missing or have empty ALT values. Instead of leaving your images without description, the plugin intelligently generates ALT text based on the image filename.
How it works
- If an image already has a meaningful ALT → it remains unchanged.
- If an image has an empty ALT (
alt="") → the plugin replaces it with the filename as ALT text. - If an image has no ALT at all → the plugin inserts one automatically.
- If an image has a bare
altattribute without value → it is replaced properly.
