This simple block fetches events from a public google calendar (or other calendar in iCal format) and displays them in simple list allowing you to fully adapt to your website by applying all kinds of CSS. Google offers some HTML snippets to embed your public Google Calendar into your website. These are good, but if you want to make a few styling tweaks beyond changing a few colors you might want to consider this module.

Simple block to display events from a public google calendar, microsoft office outlook calendar or an other iCal file, in the style of your website.

Module Features

Calendar block module to display appointments/events of a public Google calendar or other iCal file.
Small footprint, uses only Google ID of the calendar, or ICS link for Outlook, or Url of iCal file, to get event information via iCal
Merge more calendars into one module/block
Manage events in Google Calendar, or other iCalendar source.
Fully adaptable to your website with CSS. Output in unordered list with Bootstrap 4 or 5 listgroup classes and toggle for collapsed details.
Choose date / time format in settings screen that best suits your website.
Displays per event DTSTART, DTEND, SUMMARY, LOCATION and DESCRIPTION. DTSTART is required other components are optional.
Displays most common repeating events. Frequency Yearly, Monthly, Weekly, Daily (not Hourly, Minutely and smaller periods)
Can use client timezone for selection and display
Basic support for filter on Categories Warning: MS Outlook does not share categories via iCal now. Google and iCloud calendar do not support categories at all. So this will not work with these calendars.

Dit eenvoudige blok haalt gebeurtenissen op uit een openbare Google-agenda (of een andere agenda in iCal-indeling) en geeft ze weer in een eenvoudige lijst, zodat u ze volledig kunt aanpassen aan uw website door allerlei soorten CSS toe te passen. Google biedt enkele HTML-fragmenten om uw openbare Google-agenda in uw website in te sluiten. Deze zijn goed, maar als je een paar aanpassingen aan de styling wilt maken, die verder gaan dan het veranderen van enkele kleuren, zou je deze module kunnen overwegen.

Kan timezone van de client gebruiken voor selectie en weergave.
Basis ondersteuning voor filter op Categorieën Waarschuwing: MS Outlook deelt nu geen categorieën via iCal. Google en iCloud agenda ondersteunen categorieën helemaal niet. Dus dit zal niet weken met die agenda's.

Functionality

As stated, it is a simple calendar and it does what it needs to do efficiently : show as many calendars as you want from one module is cool

Ease of use

Super easy to set up the module at the position that you want, it is a module at the same time so not too much complexity for the use

Support

It is very appreciated that its creator added a github repository on which I don't see any open issue, remember it's a free module too

Documentation

Great idea that its creator added a documentation tab directly into the module, if all developers could follow that example

I used this to: Simply showing lists of events on different pages with different ical ids provided. Thanks a lot for providing this for free !
