User - Email Check
Introduction
The User - Email Check plugin reduces mistakes, when email addresses are entered into user details, both by new users registering from the frontend or editing their profiles, and also by administrators creating or editing users from the backend.
The plugin checks that the domain part has a dot, which the Joomla form validation does not cover. The plugin looks up the MX (Mail Exchanger) records of the email domain from the Domain Name System (DNS) and reports an error, if the email domain is invalid.
Languages available: English, Croatian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Ukrainian.
The installation script ensures the minimum requirements, Joomla 5 and PHP 8.1, are in place before the installation can proceed.
