DNT Domain Check for Openprovider
Introduction
DNT Domain Check for Openprovider lets visitors check on your Joomla site whether a domain name is still free. They type a name and see per extension, for example .nl, .com and .eu, whether the domain is taken or available, with your own price per year and a button to request it.
The check runs live against the API of your own Openprovider reseller account, so the answer is correct at the moment of searching. You need an Openprovider reseller account with API access. This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Openprovider.
The package installs two plugins:
- Ajax plugin: does the check through the Openprovider API (XML API with password hash, or REST API with password). All settings are here, including a tab with your extensions and prices (up to 15).
- Content plugin: fills in the placeholders {dntextensies}, {dntprijzen} and {dntprijzentekst} in your articles, so your price list and FAQ texts always match the check.
Also included:
- A limit on the number of checks per visitor per hour, to protect your API account.
- An example form in English to paste into an article or a Custom HTML module.
- Updates through the Joomla update system.
Requirements: Joomla 5 or 6, PHP 8.1 or higher, an Openprovider reseller account, and your server IP address on the IP whitelist of the API contact.
