This extension does everything I need and looks good while it’s doing it.

Besides the obvious features (password length, set character types etc.) PassField also includes some handy features such as a black list of passwords, user triggered auto password generation which abides by your defined rules and a toggle for the password mask plus some more stuff I’m probably forgetting.



The only downfall (which seems to be shared across a few of the password complexity extensions I have used) is the fact that the warning only tells you one of the rules you are breaking at a time. That is if you need numbers, and upper/lower case letters but only have numbers the warning will only inform you that you are missing upper case but not lower until you resolve the uppercase issue first.

Additional to this, it would be great if the required length of the password was shown in this error when the length of the password is too short.



I highly recommend this extension. The best password complexity extension by far.
