Introduction

MercadoPago payment plugin for HikaShop

This plugin integrates MercadoPago payment gateway with HikaShop. This plugin, automatically integrates to your HikaShop store in a way that the store administrator simply installs the plugin and after several simple configuration steps, gets a full fledged payment gateway. With MercadoPago in your store, you can provide lots of payments methods to your customers.

MercadoPago supports the following countries:

Argentina
Brasil
Uruguay
México
Venezuela
Colombia
Chile
Peru

Install Instructions:

Install the plugin using Joomla! extensions installer
Enable plugin on Joomla! plugin manager
Create and configure payment method in HikaShop (Components->HikaShop->System->Payment Methods->New)
In the displayed list, click the entry named 'MercadoPago payment module for Hikashop with IPN 2.0 and Checkout API'
Set Payment Name as you like
Set Published to Yes
Set configuration as you like in the 'Specific configuration' section
Set the "Client ID" and "Client Secret" provided by MercadoPago. You can get your credentials through this link http://developers.mercadopago.com/documentacion/autenticacion and then, click on the button "Obtener credenciales", finally, you may select the correct country according to your MercadoPago account and it will display your credentials
Set the other options as you like
Click Save to apply configuration

IPN Instructions:

To be able to use the IPN functionality, first configure the payment method in HikaShop, and the plugin will tell you the correct URL

Este plugin integra la pasarela de pagos MercadoPago con HikaShop. El plugin integra automáticamente la pasarela de pagos de forma que el administrador de la tienda HikaShop simplemente debe instalar el plugin y configurar unas sencillas opciones para ponerla en marcha. Con MercadoPago en su tienda, puede ofrecer a sus clientes muchos medios de pago con tarjetas de crédito y cuotas sin interés!

Instrucciones de Instalación:

Instale el plugin usando el instalador de extensiones de Joomla!
Habilite el plugin en el administrador de plugins de Joomla!
Cree y configure un nuevo método de pago en HikaShop (Componentes->HikaShop->Sistema->Medios de Pago->Nuevo)
En la lista que se muestra a continuación, seleccione la opción 'MercadoPago payment module for Hikashop with IPN 2.0 and Checkout API'
Indique el nombre que desee
En la opción "Publicado" seleccione "Sí"
Cambie la configuración como desee en el apartado 'Configuración Específica'
Configure el "Client ID" y el "Client Secret" provisto por MercadoPago. Usted puede obtener esas credenciales siguiendo este link http://developers.mercadopago.com/documentacion/autenticacion y clickeando el botón "Obtener credenciales", para finalizar, seleccione el país de su cuenta en MercadoPago y le mostrará sus credenciales
Grabe la configuración clickeando el botón "Guardar"

Instrucciones para el IPN:

Para poder usar la funcionalidad de IPN, configure el plugin en HikaShop mediante los pasos indicados arriba, y el plugin determinará el URL correcto
