KAutoThumbnail
Introduction
KAutoThumbnail generates a cropped or resized thumbnail (via GD, no ImageMagick needed) from the article's intro image — or, if none is set, from the first image in the article text — and injects it as a floating image into the text, so it wraps correctly on any template. It also adds loading="lazy" and width/height to every image on the page to prevent layout shift, excluding the first images to protect Largest Contentful Paint.

Requirements: Joomla 5.x or 6.x, PHP 8.1+ with the GD extension.
