The module uses intelligent caching to read the forecast once an hour and the current conditions every ten minutes. The caching keeps it from fetching data on every page refresh therefore insuring it does not slow down pages or get blocked from the data provider.

The forecasts are specified by zip code in the admin page and not changeable by visitors. It sends the weather data through completely customizable simple templates to your Joomla module.
