Installation instructions

IMPORTANT: An active merchant account with CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid is required in order to start accepting payments. If you don't have one, please email Sales (sales@cryptoprocessing.com) or follow the link to create an account.

Setup in the CoinsPaid Backoffice:

• Log in to your CoinsPaid account select “Merchants” from the menu on the left;

• Navigate to the “API Keys” section:

  • Click on the “Generate API Key” button (recommended: use a dedicated API key for your plugin integration) and follow the instructions on the screen;
  • Once generated, you need to Activate the key > click on “Activate” and follow the instructions on the screen;
  • Once your Key is activated successfully you will see your Secret Key (IMPORTANT! Save your Secret Key securely; it will be displayed only once).

• Navigate to “Merchants” > “Settings” in order to setup your callback URL: http://yoursiteurl/wp-json/coinspaid/v1/webhook (replace yoursiteurl with your actual domain and ensure the URL matches a page on your Joomla website);

• Go to the merchant settings, then go to the API section and setup the callback URL like:
  https://{domainname}/index.php?option=comvirtuemart&view=pluginresponse&task=pluginnotification&tmpl=component&pm={payment id}

Attention! Yoursiteurl shall match with an url in the Joomla plugin settings. This is required for updating the operation status in the administrative panel of the Joomla plugin.

Installation in the Joomla Admin Panel:

IMPORTANT: An active merchant account with CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid is required in order to start accepting payments. If you don't have one, please email Sales Team (sales@cryptoprocessing.com) or follow the link.

• Download the CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid plugin from the Joomla marketplace.

• Once saved to your computer, Log in to your Joomla Admin navigate to “System” > “Extensions”.

• Go to “Upload Package File” upload the downloaded CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid plugin and navigate to “Install from Folder” (you can also install from URL and from Web).

• Go to “Components” > “VirtueMart” > “Payment Method”;

• Click on the “New” button to create a new payment method for your shop. Fill in:

  • Payment Name - CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid;
  • Self Alias - cryptoprocessing-by-coinspaid;
  • Published - choose “Yes”;
  • Payment Description;
  • List Order (payment types sorting on the checkout page);
  • Press the “Save” button.

• From the same screen, navigate to “Configuration” tab. Enter your “Secret Key” and your “API Key” which you generated in the CoinsPaid Backoffice. Choose “Use sandbox”:

  • Yes (if you want to test your plugin in test environment);
  • No (if you are ready to start accepting live transactions);
  • Enable payment time restriction - Y/N;
  • Enable debug - Y/N (if you want to collect logs);
  • Click on the “Save & Close” button to save all changes.

Joomla Backoffice

• Insert the secret key in the Secret Key field and the Public key in the Publiс Key field and save the settings;

• Accept payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and other digital currencies with a leading crypto payment gateway.
