R2R Withdrawal is a free, open-source extension for managing customer withdrawals in Joomla websites using HikaShop.

Customers can submit a withdrawal directly in your store, select the affected products and quantities, and receive an email confirmation. Store administrators manage each withdrawal as a separate case, with status tracking, internal notes, customer notifications and an audit log.

Customer features

• HikaShop integration: Logged-in customers select from their own previous orders without re-entering their order details. A system plugin adds withdrawal buttons to supported areas of the HikaShop account interface, including order cards and the options menu. Button placement is configurable.
• Guest customer access: Guests identify their order using its order number and associated email address. Registration is not required.
• Full and partial withdrawals: Customers can select individual products and quantities. Multiple withdrawals can belong to one order, with quantity checks against existing withdrawal cases.
• Guided submission: The customer identifies the order, selects products, reviews the declaration and confirms submission. A reason for withdrawal is optional.
• Separate confirmation step: A withdrawal is recorded only after the customer confirms it. Each submitted case receives a unique reference and timestamp.
• Email confirmation: The customer receives the withdrawal reference, order details, selected items, quantities and submission time by email. Administrators receive a separate notification, with support for multiple recipients.

Administration features

• Dedicated case management: Track withdrawals through Submitted, Awaiting return, Return received, Under review, Approved and Refunded statuses. Cases can also be rejected or cancelled.
• Internal notes and customer messages: Keep internal comments with the case and send customer notifications when changing its status. Rejection requires a reason.
• Reopening cases: Decided or closed cases can be reopened for review, with a recorded reason.
• Audit log: Relevant actions and status changes are recorded in an append-only event log. The log cannot be edited through the administration interface.
• Suggested refund amounts: The extension calculates a suggested amount using the selected quantities and original order item prices. Shipping charges and discounts may require manual review. The administrator approves and records the final amount.
• Order-based filtering: Find withdrawal cases using search, status filters and an order filter.
• Dashboard module: An administrator module provides an overview of incoming withdrawal cases.

Withdrawals are managed independently of HikaShop order statuses. The extension does not automatically cancel orders, change their HikaShop status or issue refund payments.

Configuration and installation

• Install the component, system and AJAX plugins, administrator module and shared library from one Joomla package.
• Publish the customer wizard using Joomla’s Withdrawal declaration menu item type.
• No Joomla or HikaShop core file modifications or template overrides are required.
• Configure the store name, notification recipients, withdrawal deadline setting, wizard wording and email templates.
• Adjust the wizard’s accent, text and link colours.
• Use the installation summary and built-in Help and checks page to verify the setup.
• Receive package updates through Joomla’s extension update system.

Technical information

• Designed for Joomla 4.4, 5.x and 6.x with HikaShop 5.x or 6.x. See the project website for tested version combinations.
• PHP 8.1 or later is required.
• Hungarian and English interfaces are included, with localised number and currency formatting.
• Withdrawal records and audit events are stored in dedicated database tables.
• The extension includes server-side validation, request-token checks and configurable limits on order-identification attempts.
• Licensed under GNU General Public License version 2 or later.
