DV Meilisearch Core adds a frontend search module that queries your own Meilisearch instance (self-hosted or Meilisearch Cloud). Visitors get instant, typo-tolerant search-as-you-type in a mobile-friendly UI (no jQuery). You need a running Meilisearch project, an index that already contains documents, and a Search API key in the module settings.

What Core includes

Site search module (instant results, configurable layout)
Connect host, index UID(s), and Search API key
Query indexes you configure (e.g. one index or several if your data is already there)
Typo-tolerant search via the Meilisearch engine

What Core does not include (Pro)

No content sync plugin — Joomla articles, categories, and tags are not indexed automatically
No full-page search component, CLI/cron reindex, or vendor setup assistance
To replace Joomla Smart Search with indexed Joomla content, use Pro or populate indexes yourself (another tool/script)

Important
Meilisearch is separate software/hosting (not included). You create and pay for (or self-host) Meilisearch yourself. DV Extensions does not host your index.
