<strong>For the customer.</strong> A withdrawal button on every page of the store opens a two-step form: the order is identified by its number and e-mail address — no account needed — and then consciously confirmed, item by item if the customer is returning only part of the order. Refund, exchange, repair or discount can be offered as resolutions.

<strong>On a durable medium.</strong> The customer receives an HTML e-mail with a reference number, a timestamp and the full text of the withdrawal statement. The store gets a plain-text notification.

<strong>For the operator.</strong> A dedicated administration view lists every withdrawal received with search, sorting, processing status and CSV export, and keeps the full audit trail — date, time, IP address, user agent and the statement text. Amounts are formatted in the currency of the order.

The extension provides the mechanism the directive asks for; whether a particular store is compliant depends on how it is configured and operated.

<strong>What it needs.</strong> This extension requires <strong>VirtueMart 4</strong> (a separate, third-party Joomla component) and does not function without it.

Installs as one package — a system plugin plus an administration component. No template changes, no external service. Interface and documentation in English, Czech, Slovak and German.

Annual licence — 12 months of updates and e-mail support, no limit on the number of sites. The extension keeps working after the licence expires; it only stops receiving updates.
