Senso MCP — AI Assistant Connector (Model Context Protocol) for Joomla

Senso MCP lets AI assistants operate your Joomla site through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). It runs an MCP server inside Joomla, exposed over the Joomla Web Services API and secured with OAuth 2.1, so MCP-capable clients (such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and the claude.ai connectors) can connect to your site and work with it directly — no copy-paste, no brittle scripts.

Instead of describing changes, you ask your assistant in plain language and it performs the work through well-defined, permission-checked tools.

• Content — create, read, update, reorder and delete articles, categories and tags; manage custom fields and field groups; review and restore article versions; run an SEO audit across articles.
• Site structure — manage menus and menu items, modules and module positions, template styles.
• Maintenance — clear Joomla caches (including JCH page cache), inspect installed extensions and available updates, and read site information.

A free edition provides the core content and structure tools. Pro and Premium editions add more tools (users management, YooTheme Pro automation, and more). Downloads, updates and support are provided through sensomcp.com. The extension is released under the GNU GPL v2 or later.
