SmartMailer is a Joomla system plugin that sends newly created Joomla users to a SmartMailer address book. It is intended for site owners who use Joomla user registration and want new users to appear in SmartMailer without manual copying.

What it does

sends the user's e-mail address and name after Joomla user save or registration
can be limited to newly created users only
includes CSV export of existing Joomla users for manual import into SmartMailer
uses the SmartMailer API over HTTPS
does not block Joomla registration if the API call fails

Setup

Install the extension in Joomla administration.
Open System - SmartMailer in System > Plugins.
Paste your SmartMailer API token.
Paste the SmartMailer address book UUID where contacts should be stored.
Enable the plugin.

The extension also provides a CSV export of existing Joomla users. Use it when you install the plugin on a site that already has registered users and you want to import them into SmartMailer manually.

Compatibility: Joomla 5.4+ and 6.x, PHP 8.1+. The extension is installed as a system plugin named System - SmartMailer.

This first Joomla build works with native Joomla users. It does not include third-party form builders, newsletter form widgets, e-commerce checkout integrations or address book creation inside Joomla.
