It suits event registrations, course and workshop bookings, appointment scheduling, or any service with limited availability. A slot can be a time of day or a specific date; dated slots close by themselves when they start, or a set number of hours earlier. With the optional waiting list, a full slot stays selectable: visitors queue, and when a place frees up the next person gets it automatically and is notified by email. Every booked slot comes with its own cancellation link, so visitors can free their place without contacting you.

Overbooking is prevented at the moment of submission: the selected places are reserved while the form is checked, inside a database lock, so when two people go for the last place only one gets it — the other sees the form again with a message, never a confirmation without a booking. Overlapping time slots are greyed out in the browser and refused on the server, inside a field and between connected fields.

For administrators the package includes a separate component: a dashboard, a capacity overview with waiting-list counts and diagnostics that flag misconfigured slot lists, a bookings list with status filter, CSV export and a printable attendance sheet, manual bookings for phone reservations, a connection manager for clash detection between fields, and a remap tool that repairs bookings after the slot list was edited. Email alerts warn about low capacity, and optional notifications report cancellations and waiting-list promotions.

The extension integrates with RSForm! Pro's existing features, including conditional fields, validation rules and multilingual forms with translated slot lists. Confirmation emails can show the start and end time, the booking status and the cancellation link, with an optional calendar (.ics) attachment. The front-end look is set in the plugin options — three themes, eight colours, corner radius and custom CSS — without editing files.
