The plugin queues events locally in Joomla and sends them to the Trackless reporting application in signed batches through a cron URL. This keeps page requests independent of external tracking calls and gives site owners a privacy-focused traffic report in Trackless.

The extension requires a Trackless account and an API key. In the plugin settings, paste the API key, confirm the data processing agreement and configure the generated cron URL in your hosting cron. Recommended cron interval is 5-15 minutes; smaller sites can use 30-60 minutes.

Compatibility: Joomla 5.4+ and 6.x, PHP 8.1+. The extension is installed as a system plugin named System - Trackless.

This Joomla build measures website traffic. E-commerce adapters for VirtueMart, HikaShop or other Joomla shop components are not included in this first release.
