The "X Changes found" problem

Joomla's native Template Manager flags every override that has drifted from core, then stops. It tells you something changed. It does not tell you whether that is a copyright year, a designer's styling tweak, or a missing security filter that lets a hostile article title run scripts in your visitors' browsers.

After a Joomla point release every template with overrides lights up at once — so the signal is close to zero at exactly the moment you need to know whether something is wrong.

This extension reads that same native tracker and puts a template-literate reviewer behind it. Every finding comes back as alert, review or info, with a plain-English explanation and a recommended action. Severity is judged relative to the core file — an override that renders something the same way Joomla does is not a finding.

Bring your own AI

The extension is not tied to any one assistant. Everything it exposes is a plain REST API secured by a standard Joomla API token, so any AI that can make an HTTPS request can drive it — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, a local model, or a script you write yourself. The dashboard hands you a ready-made prompt with your site's details already filled in, and a built-in Setup guide explains what each kind of assistant needs.

Optionally, save an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google and the whole review runs server-side with no copy-paste at all.

Nothing is one-way

Every file the extension writes is backed up to your database first, and restorable in one click from the admin. Nothing is changed until you confirm it by name. A full audit log records what was done and when.
