Solve the "mixed content" errors on ssl (https) sites, automatically rename all http:// links to https://

Just install and follow the steps below to activate it and ensure your site has only secure links SSL / https connections.

  • open the plugin configuration
  • enable the plugin, and save
  • ensure Joomla configuration is correct

et voilà. All your http:// links are changed into https://

The plugin has a detailed configuration that allows you to exclude certain pages, or override Joomla configuration (useful if you're behind a proxy), and supports Joomla 2.5 - 4

Functionality
Out of 4 similar modules tested, it is the only one that does its job in my case.
Ease of use
The extension installation and configuration is obvious, self explaining.
Documentation
For the reasons explained in the section Ease of use, the documentation was not needed.
Value for money
Thsi extension is excellent. It is a quick and efficient solution to a growing issue.
I used this to: fixing mixed content issues, due to erratic URL behaviors of Joomla and unidentified components

does what it says on the box, with explanation once installed works great to fix mixed content HTTP >>>>HTTPS
Ease of use
just go to the vendor site, download, install and switch it on for entire site, took five minutes
Value for money
really great value for money, cheap a 6 euros, recommended plugin from my point of view
I used this to: I added an SSL to the website it ended up with mixed content primarily the theme messed up(Gravity). After hours messing with config and .htaccess and the core Joomla Force SSL crashed the site. I installed this plugin and hey presto done! Great thanks Joomla 3.6.5
