Opening a Joomla! control panel in a new browser tab typically requires several actions from the administrator:
- opening an empty browser tab,
- filling the address bar,
- requesting a page.
The Backend Link module reduces this process to a single action: clicking a button placed in the status bar of the Joomla! admin panel.
