Introduction

Adds a quick-access icon for editing the configuration.php file.

The Configuration.php Editor plugin adds a quick-access icon to the main Joomla administrator dashboard for editing the configuration.php file in a modal window using the CodeMirror editor.

Features:
- editing the configuration.php file in a modal window directly from the main Joomla administrator dashboard,
- using the CodeMirror editor for syntax highlighting,
- saving versions of the configuration.php file with the ability to quickly restore them,
- saving changes via Ajax without reloading the page,
- checking PHP syntax before writing the file,
- protection against overwriting the file if it has been modified after the editor was opened,
- restricting editing access to users with Super User permissions only.
