Functionality
DPC has a location feature for providing directions to users. It also gives the option to allow users to add events (pending approval).
Ease of use
Pretty simple to set up and and use. Setting up locations takes a small amount of figuring out, but is also simple.
Support
Free version doesn't include support, but I identified a small bug, contacted the developer with the fix and he included it in an update.
Documentation
Documentation is free and extensive. I didn't use it, but it looks like there's a lot of useful information.
I used this to: I'm using this for a local United Way site. They have a simple community calendar that will allow users to add events.

All our calendar-needs on the website are covered. The extension itself is really good.
Ease of use
Easy to use. Does what it says. Nice extension.
Support
Had an issue and it was handled quick and problem solved.
Documentation
Documentation is sufficient and adequate.
I used this to: Overview of yearly activities, to be seen by month and next activities to come. Great value.

The extension works well. I am using the dpcalendar free to sync from google calendar

The free version is harder to figure out since a lot of the documentation is for the pay version.

Not very good in the slightest.

From what I could find, it was out of date or did not correspond to my version of Joomla.
I used this to: Our schools website. Since the change from Gcalendar this has caused nothing but trouble and has been really hard to get any where with this add on. Gcalendar was so simple to set up but this is a complete pain. Changing to another add on. If it aint broken, don't try to fix it!!

Where real attention with users GCalendar ?!

Functionality
I'm in the dark for two weeks without return than done! Does any head of DPCalendar can answer me emails?!
Ease of use
Difficult. It makes no sense to manually edit hundreds of events to enter all the Mini Calendar or change the map! Helpless!!!
Documentation
I used this to: Use GCalendar long ago, migrated to DPCalendar and does not work well! Mini Calendar does not show the events created and is quite difficult to find where to change the Location of map of the events! I have already sent emails and the only advice is to talk to the media: PAID! HI

No More Google Calendar Syncing

Easy enough to use but missing our core need after the update to DPCalendar from GCalendar rendering it useless to us.

I've not needed to contact support. But it looks like many want Google Calendar syncing back in the free version and that has been ignored.
Documentation
Wasn't too hard to find the answers I was looking for. I quickly found that the new version will no longer fit our needs.
I used this to: GCalendar is now DPCalendar. The only thing we used it for was Google Calendar syncing. That is gone now so it makes it essentially useless for us. We've now had to remove it and are looking for alternatives. How sad.
