From Menu you can generate and set:

Different sharing pictures for different pages
- Assign a sharing picture to one menu item or select multiple menu items to use the same picture.
- Add more image rows to give different groups of menu pages different pictures.
- Choose a shared fallback picture for eligible pages without a valid individual or group picture.
- Apply automatic menu tags to selected menu items or all eligible non-article component menu pages.
- Use each page's title and meta description, with menu-setting fallbacks, plus its absolute menu URL.

Automatic article Open graph

• Generate Open Graph title, description, image, article type and routed article URL.
• Include all article categories or select specific categories, with optional subcategories.
• Use intro text, the article meta description, or the meta description with intro-text fallback.
• Set a description length limit that respects word boundaries.
• Use the intro image, with optional fallbacks to the full article image and a default picture.
• Override social titles, descriptions and images using configured Joomla article custom fields.
• Optionally include publication and modification dates.

Additional sharing options

• Generate Twitter Card tags with summary or large-image summary cards and an optional account handle.
• Optionally add site name, locale and a Facebook App ID.
• Preserve existing sharing-tag values or replace them with generated values.
• Consolidate duplicate tags for names generated on the current page, including tags supplied by templates and other extensions.

Preview and diagnostics

The included browser tool lets you paste rendered page source to inspect sharing-tag values, a text preview and duplicate or missing-tag warnings. Optional diagnostics show generated values, their sources and why automatic menu tags were generated or skipped. The tool processes pasted source locally without uploading it or fetching images.

Setup and scope

Install one package containing the module and supporting plugins. Configure automatic tags in the system plugin, no module instance is required for automatic tags.
For custom markup, create a HeadTag Manager module and select its menu assignments.

Individual Joomla articles use the article settings, including when they have their own menu item. Menu image groups apply to eligible non-article menu pages. Custom structured data is supplied by you. The extension does not scan menu-page content for pictures, and social platforms control the final appearance of shared links.
