JoomWeather

Introduction
JoomWeather is a self-contained weather module for Joomla that displays
current conditions and a multi-day forecast, with no paid subscription
required — the default provider, Open-Meteo, works immediately with no
account and no API key.
Highlights:
- 17 layouts — 6 original card-style designs plus 11 from an extended design pack, including a menu-bar-friendly "Compact Nav" layout with 4 variants (icon + temperature, menu dropdown, hover badge, text strip)
- 2 weather data providers — Open-Meteo (free, no key) or OpenWeatherMap (for sites that need visibility readings or already use it)
- 5 animated icon styles across 13 weather conditions (65 renderings total), all inline SVG — no icon fonts, no sprite sheets, no extra HTTP requests
- Full colour system — 5 built-in colour schemes with automatic light/dark palettes, plus a custom colour picker and gradient editor for matching any brand or template
- Configurable width and alignment — cap or uncap each instance's width and align it left, center, or right within its position
- City-name geocoding or exact coordinates, metric/imperial units, 12/24-hour time
- Fully translated into English, German, French, Spanish and Italian — every field, every front-end string, including locale-correct compass abbreviations
- Uses Joomla's standard per-module cache — no extra tables, no cron jobs
Create as many independent module instances as you like: a compact strip
in the header for one city, a fuller card in a sidebar for another — each
with its own provider, layout, colours and cache settings.
Full documentation, including a field-by-field guide to every settings tab
and a gallery of all 17 layouts, is included with the download.
