The Digital Asset Inspector™ organizes your media into a detailed report based on what matters when you're cleaning up a site:

• Used — reported as being referenced by one or more active Analyzers.
• Unused — not reported as being referenced by any active Analyzer.

MAT includes the Joomla Core Content Analyzer, which reports where Joomla's core content stores its media references.

This is more precise than simply searching the entire database for a filename. Databases may contain old content versions, logs, cached data and other stored information. They often include images that have been long since removed. Finding a filename is not necessarily the same as finding a current reference to the asset.

MAT's Unused tab saves you time by focusing your attention where it's needed.

Trash first. Safe Restore if you change your mind.

Move unwanted assets to MAT's Trash and test your site. If you change your mind, Safe Restore puts the asset back in its original path with two clicks. Permanently delete it only when you're confident it's no longer needed.
